OptiWin and PDMS

Integrating OptiWin with PDMS

OptiWin has been integrated with PDMS to improve the process of projecting light in Aker Solution's construction projects. PDMS (Plant Design Management System) is a major 3D construction tool which is used to model detailed and complex constructions. 

Aker Solutions, Glamox and BAIT have been co-operated to construct a tool which gives a quick, easier and more accurate projection of light. Lighting on the new H6 oil platforms designed for arctic conditions is planned using this tool, in addition to the FPSO and Gjøa platform.
